Wow! Those are some big eyes! I'm just kidding. It's a nice picture, and I like how you portrayed her as more of a nature-like insect than the typical portrayal of the beautiful maiden fairy that is essentially a tiny human. Not that this creature isn't beautiful in her own right, she's just different. Well drawn with lots of detail, and I like how the black-and-white adds weight, drama, and intensity to the picture. While her fingernails and horns may be a little scary at first glance, she truly just seems like an innocent little pixie discovering the world she lives in for the first time. Well done.
CommentsThanks a lot !!!
Your critique was really fair ! Just one thing hehe: she dont have horns but moth antennas, i know this is little details, you have to zoom in to see it =3 You taugh the essence of what i've tried to communicate: i've wanted to create a different, pure, naive and mysterious fairy. She realise that she was in a dangerous world and you could see a little bit of anguish in her eyes, in her pose, like she was fleeing from something scary !! (sorry for my bad english ^^) |
